Two contras this week

Yes, Indianapolis dancers, musicians, friends, families, and fans, we have two, TWO contra dances this week (both at our regular location). Tuesday’s dance features Celtic Myst and Jonathan Sivier, and on June 1st we have a First Friday contra with Dugan Murphy calling to Edge of Erin.

Make a night of it Friday: First Friday Food Truck Fest starts at 5, with 30 food trucks serving food in the Murat parking lot, and live music by, among others, Mucca Pazza marching band (scheduled for 7). Groupon has four person passes for $10 (50%) savings.

Indy Contra will have musicians busking outside, art galleries will be open, and we dance 8 – 11 p.m. (yes, an hour longer than usual, and don’t forget the 7:45 orientation if you’re bringing new folks!) then party at Chris & Juliet’s house.
